This coming July, Breaking Point Foundation Philippines will be having another missions trip to Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The volunteers we have had in the past international missions trips were from different places. There have been volunteers who have come from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who left their Tulsa Roofing job for a week and joined our missions trip, from Kansas City, Missouri, Canada and many other places.

In this July’s missions trip to Palawan, volunteers will be coming from Houston, Texas and from two areas in the Philippines. There will be a team to be trained from the hosting group (Puerto Princesa) and another team which will be the program team from Manila, or more specifically, Antipolo City, Rizal.

It has been said also that in this year’s mission trip to Puerto Princesa, Palawan, the volunteers from the US will be mostly college students. Our organization is excited and is hoping to get their participation in the large group and class room presentations of Breaking Point, especially in the dramas and the role playing and teaching of effective refusal skills. This is about two months from now and volunteers are in the process of raising funds for the trip and planning and preparing for the other details of the missions trip.

Today, the Breaking Point program at Pitogo High School has been finalized after meeting with the school's SSG adviser, Mr. Val Olaguer, and the principal, Dr. Nora Serdenia. The program was set for September 26, Friday and there will be two sessions - one in the morning (9am - 12pm)and one in the afternoon (1pm-4pm). The school will be sending about 80 participants per session.

With this schedule finalized we are asking the help of our volunteers from JIVE Youth, Sold Out and GIG sa Jam youth ministries.
